We are all in this together!” At least that’s what the East High Wildcats proclaimed 10 years ago. Disney Channel has announced a nation-wide casting search for High School Musical 4 which follows up the threequel, the last one being High School Musical 3: Senior Year released in theaters back in 2008.

The new movie is set to have an all new cast and the legendary choreographer Kenny Ortega has been replaced with Jeffrey Hornaday. Hornaday is known from his work in Disney’s Teen Beach Movie starring Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell. Hornaday will now choreograph and direct HSM 4 which is set to follow the East High Wildcats and incorporate their rivals the West High Knights.

It all started with two high schoolers meeting at a ski lodge and transformed to a multimillion dollar franchise and a household name. We can’t wait to see who lands the new leading roles and how they will continue the HSM story!

He did it! After six Academy Award Nominations Leonardo Di’Caprio has finally taken home an Oscar.

The highly anticipated actor of the evening looked dapper in an all black tux and humbly accepted his award for Best Actor in A Leading Role for The Revenant. After a resounding applause from his peers, Di’Caprio used his speech opportunity to touch on issues he cares about and voting for politicians who will help the cause.

Lady Gaga also had a huge night at the Oscars with her emotional performance of “Til It Happens to You”. Vice President Joe Biden introduced the American Horror Story actress who sat behind a piano with a single spotlight.

The song was written for the documentary The Hunting Ground – a documentary that dives into sexual assaults on college campuses across the nation. Gaga gave a chilling performance and had survivors of sexual assaults join her on stage with words of empowerment written on their arms.

Daaammnnnn, Daniel, back at it with the white Vans,” is all we’ve been hearing on social media this week.

Two high schoolers at Riverside Polytech, Daniel Lara (as himself) and Joshua Holz (camera man), recently had their 15 minutes of fame with a compilation of Snap Chat videos that went viral. The video is of the stylish teen sporting some beach-y threads and his signature white Vans. The exuberant camera man boosts his buddy’s ego by saying two words, “Damn, Daniel.

Since the video surfaced on the web Daniel and Josh have appeared on The Ellen Show, and Daniel has received marriage proposals and modeling contract offers. The humble teen has turned down the offers because of his age and future goals a source told Hollywood Life.

“Daniel was offered a modeling job this week but he turned down the contract because he wants a swimming scholarship and he can’t have both. Daniel is pretty modest about everything that has happened since the video went viral,” Daniels friends said about him.

It’s good to see this teen not letting the fame go to his head, but we could only imagine what every other Daniel has been going through the past few days.

This week was a devastating week in music when pop star, Ke$ha was denied her motion to be released from her Sony recording contract.

After allegations of one of Ke$ha’s producers raping her she refused to make any new music but her contract required her to still make six more albums. Ke$ha appeared in court earlier this week to hopefully be released from her contract, but the judged denied her claiming stating there was ‘insufficient evidence’ against Sony.

There have been protest against the judges ruling and Sony all over the country and A-list celebs like Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Lady Gaga have spoken out against the misrule. Adele, who is bigger than ever gave a shoutout at the Brit Awards during her acceptance speech.

I’d also like to take this moment to publicly support Ke$ha,Adele said after receiving her first award of the night.

Adele is signed to Columbia Records which is under the ownership of Sony Music Entertainment, so she could have easily put her own career in jeopardy with the ballsy comment.

Ke$ha recently posted to Facebook about the support and power of her fans. You go, girl!

Take a look at these top stories from the past week in your Sunday Paper!

Work, work, work is all that has been going through our heads since Rihanna’s ‘ANTI’ album was dropped.
The song that features the island gal and Drake could possibly be this year’s song of the summer. This isn’t the first time the pair had teamed up for a collaboration. Rihanna was featured on Drake’s ‘Take Care’ single back in 2011 after rumors of them dating swirled. The two have appeared to remain close in a professional relationship, but after seeing Rihanna’s video teaser for ‘Work’, we all have to wonder if they are rekindling things.

The pair get real close and personal dancing to the reggae beat and Rihanna and her squad do some serious twerking. We can only imagine that the entire video is just a hot!

Sia recently picked up a ride with the British comedian James Corden and it was nothing short of spectacular and haunting.

Dressed in her signature cropped bang hair and oversized bow, the ‘Cheap Thrills’ singer belts some of our favorite tunes like ‘Elastic Heart,’ ‘Chandelier,’ and ‘Diamonds’. Sia’s latest album This is Acting’ is a compilation of songs written for other artist, such as Adele and Rihanna, that didn’t make their final projects.

After the Grammy’s this past Monday and being dubbed ‘Baby Aguilera’, there is no question this girl can sing!

Demi Lovato recently appeared on NBC’S The Tonight Show with host Jimmy Fallon for his Wheel of Musical Impressions segment. Artists channel other artists while singing old tunes, nursery rhymes, show theme songs, and our favorite hits.

Lovato nailed her Impression of Cher singing ‘Bingo Was His Name-O’ and flawlessly executed her Fetty Wap impression while singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.’ Lovato saved her absolute best for last as she channeled her inner Christina Aguilera who is known for her belt-y tones and amazing riffs and runs. Lovato sang the SpongeBob SquarePants theme song and in the words of Jimmy Fallon it was ‘game over!’

Christina herself is no stranger to The Tonight Show couch and has done her fair share of impressions too, she even does Cher

She’s baaaccckkkk!

Queen Bey (Beyoncé) surprises us all with a new song released on Feb. 6, 2016 through Tidal.

After dropping her self titled, full-visual album “Beyoncé” back in Dec. of 2013, we haven’t heard much from the “Drunk In Love” singer. Fans have been anticipating new music, but could never be too sure with Bey.

Beyoncé’s new song title “Formation” is a newly proclaimed Black History Month, black empowerment, black female empowerment and anti police brutality anthem. The visuals in the music video are both symbolic and telling. Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy, even makes a short appearance smiling in an all white dress and rocking her curly Afro.

“Y’all gonna lean bout dem children of Celestine & Matthew, lol. Slay sis, slay. And Slay niece, slay,” Beyoncé’s sister Solange tweeted in support.

The song can be purchased through Tidal streaming services, but because Beyoncé is in such a giving mood you can sign up for a free 90 day trial NOW!

Beyoncé is set to perform with Cold Play on their new collaboration “Hymn For The Weekend” during this year’s 50th Super Bowl halftime show. Maybe, just maybe if the Queen is so gracious we can anticipate a performance of “Formation” as well.

In case you forgot what happened when Beyoncé performed the halftime show, she knocked the power out for 35-minutes after her performance!

Speaking of the Super Bowl, tonight is the 50th game and the Carolina Panthers will face the Denver Broncos in an all out showdown.

As much as we are looking forward to the endless wings and calorie-filled snacks, we can’t wait to see the hilarious and sometimes raunchy commercials from the Super Bowl. Most importantly, we are excited about the halftime show!

Take a look back at Super Bowl’s halftime performances from the last five years!

After rumors of a rekindled romance and photographs swirling of the pair, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s engagement is back on. Sources close to Hemsworth said he told his friends that they were engaged again according to US Weekly.

The couple first met on the set of ‘The Last Song’ (2010) and were engaged in 2012. After a short engagement and cheating rumors on Hemsworth’s part circulated, the engagement was called off the following year.

‘They are picking up right where they left off,’ sources told US Weekly.

The couple recently spent New Years together after Cyrus wrapped up her ‘Bangerz’ in Australia. The couple are now living together and seem to be pretty happy again.

Somebody PLEASE come get Dionne Davenport!

As if we weren’t already giving major side-eye to Stacey Dash because of her previous anti-black rhetoric, she has given us even more of a reason to despise her.

In the midst of the Oscar controversy (no people of color being nominated for anything), Dash, recently had an interview on Fox and Friends where she said networks like BET should be cancelled because you are only awarded ‘if you’re black.’

She didn’t stop there, the 49-year-old mother of two went on to say America should do away with Black History Month all together because it is spreading separatism.

Let us not forget that Dash was on the BET network in the show ‘The Game’ from 2009-2011. Dash is also known for playing ‘token’ black characters, her most notable one as Dionne Davenport in ‘Clueless’ (1995). Dash has also appeared on the cover of JET, KING, and SMOOTH which are all black publications.

Dash was immediately targeted on social media where people used the hashtag #Clueless to describe her comments. BET even joined in on the clap-back and posted a photo of Dash with the caption, ‘Soooooo @realstaceyldash, can we get our check back… or nah? #Remember #YouWereOnTheGame #AndWeDontMeanTheRapper.’

It didn’t stop there, The View’s Whoopi Goldberg was not having any of Dash’s words and quickly put her in her place.
