Trend Alert: The Bucket Bag

trend alert bucket bag

Calling all handbag hoarders, there’s a new bag on the shelves! We all have our favorites, that clutch you can’t go out on the town without, the tote that holds just about everything you could possibly need and that go to shoulder bag that assists you with very important purchases in the mall. We saw and enjoyed the backpack trend back in 2014 but 2015 is a new year and that means there is a new hot trend on the horizon – The Bucket Bag.

The Bucket Bag is part backpack part shoulder bag. It has the accessibility of a backpack meaning you can fit a lot of items inside and they won’t weigh you down which often happens when we pack up our handbags. Bucket Bags also have the style factor, which I felt the designer backpack trend was lacking.

Whether you’re heading to the beach or on a hot date, bucket bags can be your go-to accessory. I love wearing my Bucket Bag with a destroyed pair of jeans and simple T-shirt for a polished grunge look. If you’re looking to get on this fashion trend fast, here is a few stylish picks that won’t make you break the bank!

Bravo Announces Spring 2015 Shows

bravo tv

If you’re not a lover of Reality TV, you and I cannot be friends. I have my must watch shows like Million Dollar Listing LA, Mob Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta, RHOBH, RHONJ, Shahs of Sunset, and many more. I really don’t watch as much tv as it seems, I swear. A lot of these shows air on Bravo TV. Bravo is a great network with really good content. I also love Andy Cohen. One thing I noticed is this season of Shahs of Sunset is missing Lily. She told Bravo she’s focusing on her other businesses. Bummer, but there is a new girl so we’ll see how this season progresses. I feel like I have to watch last season of these shows to catch up on what has happened. Below, you will find all the details on their spring shows!

Need to add some new music to your music library?

Amos Lee (born Ryan Anthony Massaro) is an American singer-songwriter from Philadelphia, PA. with a folk/rock/soul type of feel. His sound has been compared to artists such as Norah Jones and John Prine, as well as stars of the 70’s like Bill Withers and Minnie Ripperton.

He has recorded five albums on Blue Note Records, Amos Lee (2005), Supply and Demand (2006), Last Days at the Lodge (2008), Mission Bell (2011), and Mountains of Sorrow, Rivers of Song (2013). He’s toured as an opening act for artists such as Norah Jones, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Paul Simon, Merle Haggard, Van Morrison, John Prine, Dave Matthews Band, Adele, the Zac Brown Band, Jack Johnson, and The Avett Brothers.

In 2011, his album Mission Bell debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Below, I’ve included a track from his Mission Bell album, which just so happens to be my favorite song by him.

2015 Award Show Season

2015 golden globes and oscars
It’s that fabulous time of the year again when all our favorite stars gather in exquisite ensembles and deck themselves out in dazzling jewels complimented by their favorite accessory- the red carpet. It’s award season and the hosts and performers have brought their A game to start 2015 off on a good note.   On January 7, 2015, I had the pleasure of attending The People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California where I laughed with Anna Faris and Allison Janney, jammed to Iggy Azalea and shed a tear to Ben Affleck’s speech accepting the heartwarming Humanitarian Award.

A few days later at the Golden Globe Award Show on January 11, 2015 at the Beverley Hills Hotel in Beverley Hills, California, we were

Viners to watch!

vine banner
If you’re anything like me, you love Vine. I don’t personally post Vines just because I hate the way I sound in videos, but I’m on Vine a lot just cracking up. Of course I have my favorite “big” viners, like TasiaAlexis (she’s from where I live, holla girl; do yo thang. don’t let this shitty town hold you back!!), and Zachary Piona, but there are so many underrated viners, it’s not funny! They deserve a greater following because they don’t put out the same recycled content as other viners. I know a lot of the content is recycled because they get paid, but whatever.

Today, I wanted to talk about two of my favorite Viners that I think need to be discovered!

The first is Nick Colletti, currently on Vine he has 342.9k followers, and that’s so much more than what he had when I found his Vine. This is the Vine that made me follow him:
