Viners to watch!

If you’re anything like me, you love Vine. I don’t personally post Vines just because I hate the way I sound in videos, but I’m on Vine a lot just cracking up. Of course I have my favorite “big” viners, like TasiaAlexis (she’s from where I live, holla girl; do yo thang. don’t let this shitty town hold you back!!), and Zachary Piona, but there are so many underrated viners, it’s not funny! They deserve a greater following because they don’t put out the same recycled content as other viners. I know a lot of the content is recycled because they get paid, but whatever.

Today, I wanted to talk about two of my favorite Viners that I think need to be discovered!

The first is Nick Colletti, currently on Vine he has 342.9k followers, and that’s so much more than what he had when I found his Vine. This is the Vine that made me follow him:

Calvin Klein’s New Campaign My Calvins Featuring Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber my calvins Calvin Klein

If you haven’t seen or heard about the new Calvin Klein campaign “#mycalvins” featuring an almost naked Justin Bieber, no worries because I have attached the photos in this post. I happen to think the campaign is awesome. However, since launching, the campaign has been very controversial. I think Calvin Klein knew this campaign would but not for the reasons that they intended.
At first, everyone was in shock looking at barely clothed Justin Bieber rocking Calvin Klein underwear. Are people old enough to remember when Mark Wahlberg was the face of Calvin Klein? Justin is today what Mark was back then. Mark’s wife wasn’t amused by the comparison. Almost immediately after the campaign launched, allegations came out that the photos were photoshopped. BreatheHeavy claimed to have untouched photos which featured a Justin Bieber whose muscles and pecs were much smaller than the photos featured in the ads. Also, noticeably smaller was Justin’s package.

Twitter To Launch Video This Year

Twitter logo
Twitter quietly announced plans back in November to launch a video service. Reports were circulating around the Internet this weekend regarding more details about Twitter’s plans to launch this secret video service later this year. The new information comes from video.twitter.com which include Terms of Service and an FAQ. The terms give details such as a limit of 10 minutes per video but no file size limit. This will allow people to share high quality videos.

Posting videos directly on Twitter should have benefits because people will get access to better features like analytics and the way they’re displayed. YouTube videos are embedded decently on Twitter now but I could see them fazing YouTube out in place of their own service. I could see Twitter build a seamless experience for their own video service. At launch, the video service

Calling all TV junkies!

red band society

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got your TV shows that you watch religiously. For me, that’s shows like Survivor, Dance Moms, and The MTV Challenges. But I have so many shows that I like to watch, thank goodness for DVR, huh? When I have a day off, I binge watch a bunch of TV!

Well, Fox Network came out with a bunch of new shows for their Fall line up this year, and one that caught my attention was a show called “Red Band Society”. If you’ve read/seen “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”, it’s similar to that.

“Red Band Society is about a group of teens in the pediatric ward of Los Angeles’ Ocean Park Hospital find comfort in one another. Mexican-born Jordi, 16, crossed the border for treatment. His roommate, Leo, at the hospital for over a year, is starting to lose his way. Cystic fibrosis prompts Leo’s best friend, Dash, to live each day as though it’s his last. Emma, Leo’s off-and-on girlfriend, has an eating disorder. Kara is a cheerleader with a heart problem, and her roommate, Charlie, is 12 and in a coma. Dr. Jack McAndrew and Nurses Jackson and Dobler make up their medical team.”

The first episode premiered on September 17, 2014.

Red Band Society has quickly become

Trend Alert: Velvet

If you’re the type that tries to stay up to date on fashion, well I have some news for you! We all know that the 90s was one of the best fashion eras to date with its grunge, angsty vibe and if you were young in the 90s, you know velvet was a big thing. (Thank you Angela Chase and “My So-Called Life”)! Velvet is making a huge come back this season. Here are two dresses that I have been personally eyeing! One dress is a more affordable choice from Forever 21, while you might have to splurge on the other choice from Urban Outfitters. (Click pictures to take you to the websites!)
